Q1: Are you a first-time blogger?
A: No, I’m not. But it’s my comeback after a 5-year hiatus.
Q2: Whatever happened to you old blog? Why don’t you update it anymore?
A: One morning, woke up and just decided it wasn’t necessary to be sharing my personal “diary” (quite literally) with the whole world. And yes, that blog was full of stuff that probably only very very very close friends knew about.
Q3: Why did you start again? Why not continue where you left off?
A: Started because of work, lah:P Nuyou writers need to keep a blog for our website. Plus I’m already in a different phase of life, writing for a different purpose, hence no more of the old blog.
And for you, in case you were wondering, here’s my old blog. http://vivrelavie.blogdrive.com Written during my Taipei days, mainly through long, quiet nights…most often with a tumbler of Pastis, either Nat King Cole, Stephen Pompoungac, 黃耀明or陳昇 in the background, and occasionally a couple of Sobranies.
That was me, then. And hopefully, what I’ll be on my way back soon. Not so much what I went thru, but the spirit and sunshine that was actually blessed unto me at birth. Cheers
